The Idea
This isn't about dancing perfectly or delivering a flawless performance. It’s simply about dancing, period.
My goal is to make that "first step" as easy as possible for you. We often let our own inhibitions hold us back, but I truly believe that everyone can dance. These videos are an invitation to simply get moving.
For now, I am recording these sessions in German. Since most of my teaching in Germany has been in German, it’s a great way for me to keep practicing the language while sharing my passion with you. Let’s see where this project leads!

The Methode
Dancing Without Pressure – Find Your Own Flow
Over the past ten years teaching Swing at Clärchens Ballhaus, I’ve realized that Solo Swing is where people—and I—truly connect with the joy of dancing.
This course is designed to be accessible for almost all levels. The routine provides a framework, giving you a clear direction while leaving room for play. After demonstrating the steps, I provide a "Tips & Challenges" video for you to explore and learn. You choose the movements that suit you best; in fact, nothing makes me happier than seeing you find your own interpretation and expression.
The Benefits of Video Learning:
-
No Pressure: There is no class speed or group dynamics to keep up with.
-
Your Focus: Concentrate entirely on yourself, your rhythm, and your pace.
-
Experiment: Try dancing to different styles of music and at various tempos.
Find your flow! Feel free to share your videos with me—I’d love to provide you with personal feedback on your journey.
